Crossrail – London

In front of skyscrapers and surrounded by the River Thames a 300 meter wooden roof construction of a special kind by Baucon can be admired in London. This roof construction is part of a new train station that has been built in Canary Wharf.

Powerstation – Leeds

The waste incineration plant in Leeds is Britain’s largest planking project. Visitors are now able to look at a technically high developed and visually incomparable refuse incineration plant which is over 123 meters long.



The Macallan Whiskey Distillery in Scotland is a real eye-catcher. The 200-meter-long Gründach lies on a wooden roof. The special feature of the wooden roof are the five shaped domes, which embed the Gründach so perfectly into the Scottish landscape.


Airport – Cebu (Philippines)

Mactan Cebu International Airport is the second largest airport in the Philippines. The airport expands in 2017 with an eye-catching design. In Asia, timber constructions haven´t been explored yet, however this construction has exceeded all expectations.


Phoenix Gallery-Sydney

Interior design and architecture perfectly combined – the Phoenix Gallery in Sydney. A multifunctional building offers room for different possibilities. In addition to the execution of highlevel and functional ideas, DESIGN was always capitalized. A real eye-catcher.


La Seine Musicale-Paris

“La Seine Musicale”, the new concert building in France brings together art and nature. In 2017, a new wooden -glass construction was built on the Seine. What is particularly striking is the wooden honeycomb construction. A cultural building at its best.


ETH Wohnheim – Zürich

This is a student accommodation unlike any other and proofs how stylish and innovative students can live. The new dorm with the wave-shaped wooden façade received its curves, by using a special curving procedures. It shows – wood is not “just” wood.


Wood Sphere – Germany

The wooden sphere at Steinberger See is an architectural master piece with adventure character. It can welcome 950 visitors at the same time. It is also a fantastic example of massive glulam elements.


Airport – Pampanga (Manila)

Our second airport in the Philippines – The Clark International Airport. With a construction time of 8 months we are happy to announce we did it again. It is a beautiful new airport with a fantastic wooden roof that fits perfect in the landscape of Pampanga.



More than 5,200 m³ of wood in use for Munich’s new Olympic Park. The spectacular building has a protruding canopy of 18.3 m. This is made possible by the material wood, which scores points with its low weight and high strength and thus becomes the ideal building material. The campus is one of the largest wooden buildings in Europe.



A roof structure made of glued laminated timber for the new cruise terminal in Southampton (Great Britain). The roof structure consists of 222 (partially curved) glulam beams with a length of 37 meters. The roof curves in both directions and gives the external appearance a wave-like shape.
